Oxana Cretu, who opened a restaurant in France, the first Ambassador of Gastronomy of the Republic of Moldova

Moldovan Oxana Cretu received the Diploma of Ambassador of Gastronomy of the Republic of Moldova for 2024-2027. Our compatriot has opened a restaurant in Bordeaux, France. It is a symbolic title established for the first time by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova.

Established in France for almost two decades, Oxana Cretu managed to open her “Heart” there. Equally appreciated by locals and tourists visiting the city, “Inima” has become a top restaurant and is included in the Michelin and Gault & Millau guides.

In 2024, Oxana had a new achievement being chosen among the best chefs in France to create the menu for the Paris Olympics. For several months, she has been regularly returning home to collaborate with the “Cricova” Wine Combine, reinventing the gastronomic concept of this iconic Moldovan destination.
