Port infrastructure in the Odessa region was attacked on Tuesday night. The explosions could also be seen from Romania, and sailors from territories across the Prut managed to film the attack and the blasts.
The Ukrainian prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into violations of the laws of war. According to the Kyiv authorities, grain storage facilities, offices, and agricultural equipment were destroyed or damaged.
The shelling of the Odessa region took place between 2:00 and 4:00. The ports of Reni and Ismail near the border of the Republic of Moldova were also targeted.
Ukrainian military officials have not released any information on casualties.
