Presentation of the “Winemaker’s Daughter” project with wine tasting at the Cluj International Film Festival

The feature film project “The Winemaker’s Daughter,” developed by the Shepherd Company, whose partner is the Realitatea Media Group, was presented at the Transylvania 2024 International Film Festival, organized in Cluj for over 20 years in a row.

The event brought together film producers and directors from Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, Greece, Turkey, and Georgia in the heart of Transylvania, who were able to present their film projects to film professionals and potential partners, agents, and financiers through the international co-production platform Transilvania Pitch Stop (TPS).

Among the ten projects in development selected for the Festival was “The Winemaker’s Daughter,” a film production promoting the traditions and culture of wine production in Moldova, presented by producer Sergiu Scobioala and director Ivan Naniev.

The presentation concluded with one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Moldov – Castel Mimi as a potential location for European films. Moreover, those present were pleasantly surprised to taste the Bulboaca red wine produced by the winery, and during the break, everyone enjoyed the Sanzienele white wine.
