Moldova will organize the Diaspora Days in 2024. The events start on August 16 with the DOR summer camp, attended by 80 children settled abroad and 20 living in the country.
The DOR camp takes place in Holercani under the patronage of Prime Minister Dorin Recean. Also, on August 16, compatriots back home from abroad are invited to the Open Doors Day at the Diaspora Relations Office and government institutions. They will talk to officials and learn about the opportunities they have. They will know how to be involved in the country’s public, economic, and social policy development.
The Government and Artcor will organize the Diaspora Youth Forum on the same day. There will be a round table on cooperation between the diaspora and the Government, including online participation of Moldovans abroad.

The “See you at home” festival will bring compatriots together to discuss the country’s present and future.
“On the program is a panel discussion with President Sandu, but also other officials ready to answer questions, success stories from the diaspora, with people who have made it, created business, prosperity including in their home communities,” announced the spokesman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Daniel Voda.
On August 18, the Diaspora Business Forum will be at the Digital Park. Moldovans back home may also visit the “Frunze de Dor” show in August.
