The Moldovan military will participate in the Regex fourth workshop 2024 regional general staff exercise from July 8 to 19.
“The aim is to train the military in Western standards of exercise planning and execution, crisis management, reinforcement and assessment of the level of interoperability of forces in a multinational environment,” a press release issued by the Defense Ministry said.
As in previous seminars, about 30 representatives from the following countries will take part in the exercise: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Jordan, Kingdom of Bahrain, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tunisia, Malta, the African Union (Ghana and Benin), staff officers of the National Army.
The relevant ministry states that the National Army’s Combat Training Plan for the current year and the Defense Ministry’s and National Army’s External Activity Plan for 2024 guide the Regex 2024 exercise.
