The Moldovan Parliament demands that Russia stop the war and withdraw its troops from Ukraine

The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova requests the Russian Federation to immediately cease military activities in Ukraine and to unconditionally withdraw all military forces and equipment from the entire internationally recognized territory of Ukraine. A draft declaration on the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is to be approved by the Parliament.

“On this sad anniversary, I announce that we have registered in the Parliament an official statement of the legislature by which we condemn the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. We demand a ceasefire as soon as possible based on the “Peace formula” proposed by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and we believe that its implementation will contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine and stability in the region. We are and will be in solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people”, writes Igor Grosu on Facebook.
According to the document, this act of open aggression represents war crimes and a flagrant and serious violation of the principles of international law and the international commitments assumed by the Russian Federation.
