From January to October 2023, an increase in exports of Moldovan wines was registered – by 8.6% compared to the 2022. This was announced by Economy Minister Dumitru Alaiba on his Facebook page. According to him, the amount of exports is 111 million dollars.
“We are a nation with deep-rooted wine traditions, and this is not only our heritage but a contributing factor to future prosperity. The destinations of our wines also reflect the direction of our aspirations: 45% to the EU; 29% to the rest of the world; 26% to the CIS,” Dumitru Alaiba wrote.

Dumitru Alaiba noted that Moldovan wines are appreciated in Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Georgia, the UK, the USA, Canada, China, and many other countries.
