The Material Reserves Agency announces that it has received the fifth tranche of fuel oil (HFO), out of the 14,500 tons contracted, in the context of ensuring the country’s energy security during the crisis period caused by the conflict in Ukraine.
According to a provision of the Commission for Exceptional Situations (CSE) of October 7, in order to optimize the consumption of natural gas, in the context in which the volumes delivered by SA “Gazprom” were reduced, the Material Reserves Agency will release, from the state reserves, 8 thousand tons of fuel oil to SA “Termoelectrica”.
At the same time, Termoelectrica S.A. announced on Monday, October 3, that it initiated the procedure for the purchase, through direct negotiations, of M-100 fuel oil or its equivalent, in the amount of up to 154 thousand tons.
