The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI of the Republic of Moldova) organizes an event dedicated to social entrepreneurship within the “Fabricat în Moldova” (Made in Moldova) exhibition. The workshop will take place on February 3 and is carried out as part of the project “Using the potential of civil society for the promotion and development of social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova”, financed by the European Union, co-financed by Sweden and implemented by the East European Foundation in partnership with Keystone Moldova and the Contact Center.
“We invite you to benefit from the opportunity to live a new experience in the company of the best-known actors of social entrepreneurship in our country, to interact and learn the latest changes in the field, all aimed at ensuring better collaboration and synergy to social entrepreneurs”, the vice-president of the CCI of the Republic of Moldova, Natalia Calenic, addresses the community of social entrepreneurs in the country.
Thus, on the current February 3, CCI of the Republic of Moldova organizes the informative workshop “Social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova: Realities and Perspectives”. The event will bring together experts from the Eastern European Foundation, the “CONTACT” Center as well as implementers of hubs for social businesses.
The main objective of the event is the promotion and development of social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova, especially the improvement of the legal framework in the field of social entrepreneurship of the Republic of Moldova.

Moreover, the workshop will also discuss the reasons why entrepreneurs from the Republic of Moldova are reluctant towards this field and, of course, how this business model can be promoted among classic entrepreneurs.
The informative workshop “Social entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova: Realities and Perspectives” will take place on February 3, 2023, starting at 12:30, at “Moldexpo” International Exhibition Center (municipality of Chisinau, str. Ghioceilor no. 1 ) at the Central Pavilion, 2nd floor, conference room.
