Regardless of who is appointed as the Russian Federation’s ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, they will deliver the same messages, said PAS deputy and president of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense, and public order, Lilian Carp, during the Rezoomat show on Rlive TV.
”I do not believe it matters who comes because, for the most part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation dictates the political direction. Regardless of who they appoint as the Russian Federation’s ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, they will deliver the same messages and take the same actions. Changing the ambassador is not significant. What matters is the policy they promote and the objectives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, not just in Moldova but across the Balkan region. All the ambassadors in places like Bucharest, Sofia, or other states make the same statements. Some are more active, others more reserved, but there is no real difference,” said Lilian Carp.
