The president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, will pay a working visit to the Gagauzia Territorial-Autonomous Unit tomorrow, September 2, after recently announcing that she will go to the South of the country to meet with the citizens.
According to the media from the region, currently, within the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia, the Protocol Service of the Presidency, as well as the State Guard and Protection Service are working on aspects related to ensuring security and inspecting the edifice, with the drawing up of a program for the meeting of the head of state in the territory.

We remind you that, in an interview, Maia Sandu recently stated that she has planned a trip to TAU Găgăuzia, where she will also meet with the citizens, to discuss their grievances exposed during the last protests organized in the region.
We specify that, since taking office, Maia Sandu visited Gagauzia on July 2, 2021, but without meeting with the Baskan of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, and the president of the People’s Assembly of the autonomy.
