Nearly all of the 50 official delegations have confirmed their presence at the Summit taking place on June 1st at Castel Mimi, according to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Nicu Popescu.
“As of today, we have received confirmations from almost all the delegations of the participating states. Specifically, we have 48 out of 50 confirmations. The delegations will arrive over the course of two days. The first half will arrive tomorrow, May 31st, and the second half will arrive on June 1st, in the first half of the day.”
Nicu Popescu stated that the Summit itself will commence at 10:30 am on June 1st at Castel Mimi and conclude at 7:00 pm in the evening.
“We have a record number of journalists who will cover the Summit. Initially, there were 775 accreditation requests, but only 650 were granted due to space restrictions. Among the accredited journalists, we will have 330 reporters, 200 cameramen and photographers, 60 editors, and 100 press officers who are members of the official delegations. From Moldova, we have accredited 177 journalists. A total of 82 individuals, both from Moldova and abroad, have been trained for live broadcast transmission,” added the minister.
