Moldova is interested in taking over Poland’s experience in sectors such as renewable energy, agriculture, digitalization of the medical system. This is the announcement made by the president of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu, in a message on Facebook, after the meeting with a group of Polish deputies. The delegation is composed of members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on European Union Affairs of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.
During the meeting, Grosu announced that various current topics were addressed, including the security situation in the region, the energy crisis and the course of our country’s European integration.
“I was happy to welcome in Chisinau a group of Polish deputies, members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on European Union Affairs of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland… I expressed my gratitude for the generous support provided by Poland over the years in our EU accession process and on the support platform for the Republic of Moldova. We know it is not a simple process, it involves many reforms, but they are part of our governance agenda. The key priorities remain, for us, European integration, energy security and justice reform, as well as economic development and attracting investments”, stated Grosu.

The agenda of the visit also includes meetings with the members of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, of the National Security, Defense and Public Order Commission and with the president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with the Republic of Poland, Larisa Voloh.
