The 2022 edition of the tree planting campaign continues this weekend. The start of the event was given by Chisinau City Hall last Saturday, and the goal is to plant 60 thousand trees this month.
Our colleagues from the Realitatea team and Rlive will broadcast live from several locations in the capital, where trees will be planted.
At 10:00 a.m. in front of the “Gloria” Sports Profile Theoretical High School, the “Gloria” Alley of Students will be planted.
At 11:00 a.m. we will plant 100 trees at the “Pro Succes” Theoretical High School.
The actions of greening the city will be in several locations in the sectors of the Capital. They are attended by municipal officials, heads of subdivisions and municipal enterprises, representatives of ethnocultural organizations, and volunteers, as follows:
- Râșcani district: Ierusalim square, Moscova boulevard, the square in Matei Basarab street and Albișoara street;
- Center Sector: Hristo Botev square, spruce trees will be planted;
- Botanica sector: Teilor street, alignment – linden trees will be planted;
- Ciocana District: Scolarilor de Jos Alley, junipers, honeysuckle, and linden trees will be planted;
Buiucani sector: plane trees will be planted on Alexei Șciusev street.

This year young trees will be planted in all the parks and squares that have been rehabilitated recently. Planting will also be organized on the street alignments, where the trees are missing or have been cut down because they presented a danger to passers-by; on the territories of schools and kindergartens, especially in the courtyards of the 90 institutions that suffered as a result of last summer’s calamities.
