The USA is planning a 550 million dollar aid for the energy security of Ukraine and Moldova, reports Reuters.
Of the total amount, 250 million dollars will be directed to strengthen Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in the face of Russian attacks.
Another 300 million dollars will be offered to the Republic of Moldova to help Chisinau get rid of its energy dependence on Russia.
The aid, described in documents seen by Reuters, was to be announced by the administrator of the US Agency for International Development, Samantha Power, today, on the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
