The Moldovan government is preparing to negotiate an air services agreement with Kuwaiti authorities. This agreement will grant pilots from both countries the right to fly over each other’s airspace, make stopovers, and carry passengers or cargo.
Under the agreement, air operators from each signatory state must obtain authorization from the host country’s authorities. While in foreign territory or airspace, crews and passengers must adhere to local regulations on entry, authorization, clearance, deboarding, quarantine, document control, and other applicable provisions.
Chisinau officials emphasize that this agreement with Kuwait is necessary as strengthening bilateral relations benefits both countries’ economic and trade connections. Officials aim to create more jobs and boost tourism through this partnership.
