In a significant meeting, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Odile Renaud-Basso, the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), engaged in discussions focused on crucial infrastructure projects, business environment strengthening, and energy efficiency. The meeting took place during Odile Renaud-Basso’s visit to Chișinău.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Recean highlighted the vital programs benefiting Moldovan citizens, such as the construction of roads, modernization of railways, and consolidation of power lines. He also expressed gratitude for the support provided in overcoming the challenges faced by the country in recent years, especially in enhancing energy resilience. The Prime Minister emphasized the government’s priorities, centered on economic development and encouraging investments.
“We are emphasizing the streamlining of bureaucratic processes, strengthening the capacities of state institutions, modernizing localities, and enhancing energy security by transitioning towards a greener economy. Furthermore, we are making efforts to create a conducive environment for business development through the launch of government programs supporting entrepreneurs. I want you to see the Republic of Moldova not only as a country in need of financial assistance but also as an opportunity for investments,” stated Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
