The Government today announced the launch of a new Russian-language Telegram channel – “Правительство на русском.” Government press secretary Daniel Voda said the purpose of the new channel is to provide citizens with verified information from all state authorities.
“This initiative came about because of the increasing amount of misinformation spread through anonymous channels on this social network. In this way, the Government intends to conduct targeted communication. The purpose of this new channel is to provide citizens with verified information from all Government authorities,” said Daniel Voda.
