The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) is launching today, March 19, 2025, during Global Money Week, the project “FinanciarELE – the Women’s Leadership Community,” an initiative aimed at supporting and developing the financial and leadership skills of women in the Republic of Moldova. The event will be broadcast live on Rlive.md, starting at 2:00 PM.
This platform aims to create an educational and professional framework, providing access to mentorship, training, and development opportunities for young women aspiring to a career in the financial and banking sector.
“Financial education and female leadership are fundamental to building a fair and prosperous society. Through this project, we aim to support young women, particularly by helping them develop financial skills and pursue careers in the economic field. Leadership has no gender – it has vision, courage, and education,” emphasized NBM Governor Anca Dragu, who initiated the project.

The official launch session of the project will feature NBM Governor Anca Dragu alongside Svetlana Cerović, Head of the IMF Representation in Moldova, and Magdalena Mueller-Uri, Head of the Cooperation Section of the EU Delegation to Moldova.
