New Cooperation Agreement Between Moldova and Azerbaijan’s Ministries of Internal Affairs


The government has approved the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The purpose of this Agreement is to strengthen the relations between the two states in the field of internal affairs and to cooperate in the protection of human rights and freedoms.

Considering the challenges arising from the regional situation, cooperation between our country and Azerbaijan is essential for enhancing security in the region, promoting peace, and ensuring security.

Furthermore, this Agreement will contribute to the prevention and combating of crime, as well as the defense of the state’s interests and the population against illegal acts.

It should be noted that this document will replace the Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed in Baku on February 17, 1994, which expired on February 17, 2004.
